How I got into concrete
For years I ran a small equipment rental shop, and a lot of the people at my counter were concrete crews and homeowners starting yard projects. I learned the trade working beside the finishers who rented from me, and I watched which jobs held up and which ones didn't. In 2021 I got licensed, built our own crew and started this business in Saratoga.
What I care about most is the part nobody sees once the concrete's down, the dug-out ground, the drainage and the planning. Around here, hillsides and lots of trees shape a lot of driveways and patios, so that ground work matters even more. I still explain things the way I did across the counter, as many times as you need. You can see everything we build on our home page.

What you can expect when you work with us
I walk the site with you first
I come out myself, look at the ground with you and explain the job in plain words before you commit to anything. Questions are a good sign, so ask as many as you like, in person or through our contact page.
Ground work comes before the finish
We dig out and firmly pack the ground under your slab, which we call the subgrade, and check where the water will run so the slab doesn't drain toward your house. The base is the first thing people want to trim from a budget because it's hidden on day one, and it's the last thing I'd cut, because a slab that settles with loose dirt looks bad no matter how nice the surface was.
A straight answer about cracks
Concrete shows some cracking over time, and I'd rather tell you that at the first visit than have it surprise you later. We cut control joints, shallow grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, on time and where we lay them out, so cracks tend to land in lines we chose instead of across the middle.
City steps planned in early
We look into what the city wants for your job early, because in Saratoga driveway work goes to Public Works to see if a street encroachment permit is needed, and any work within five feet of the edge of a protected tree's branches, even a neighbor's tree, needs an arborist review. Permitted work here runs 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, with none on Sundays or weekday holidays, so we plan the forms and the pour inside those hours.
Licensed, insured and clear on permits
Serving Saratoga Since 2021
Fully licensed and insured
Fully licensed and insured. Our own crew does the work, and I'm on site to check the forms that hold the concrete in shape and to watch the pour.
Who can take a Saratoga permit
In Saratoga, anyone working on a project can submit a permit application, but only the property owner or a licensed contractor can take the final permit, and whoever takes it is responsible for the work. When a permit applies, we handle the contractor's side and help you with the parts that fall to you, and if it's unclear whether your job needs one, the city's Building Division is the place to ask.
